Microsemi scales the performance storage tier with the industry’s first PCIe storage switches and fastest SSD controllers, enabling end-to-end, reliable PCIe deployment in hyperscale and enterprise data centers.
Solid-state drives (SSDs) promise to greatly enhance enterprise storage performance with faster random access to data and faster transfer rates. PCIe-based SSDs, together with the NVMe host control, alleviate the interface bottleneck. Flashtec NVMe Controllers and Flashtec NVRAM Drives dramatically boost the number of random I/O operations per second (IOPS) that a system can process, while concurrently reducing latency and power.
